Commercial Team-Building Event

Have you always dreamed of winning an Oscar? Or at least finally seeing your coworkers take on the roles of action heroes, romantic leads, or completely overwhelmed villains? Then this film contest is just the thing for you. To start, the company is divided into several film crews. Each crew appoints its own director, producer, and assistant producer. Everyone else takes on the roles of actors—either voluntarily or under a little gentle peer pressure. Each team is then given an exciting film assignment that is either general in nature or tailored specifically to the company.

Of course, no blockbuster is made without a budget. Each film crew receives “fake dollars” that can be used to purchase props, costumes, equipment, or even professional support. So the big question is: Will the budget be invested wisely, or will it all go toward an over-the-top pair of sunglasses and a smoke machine? During filming, professional filmmakers are on hand to offer advice and assistance. But the best scenes often happen spontaneously—especially when someone forgets their lines, a colleague suddenly improvises, or a serious scene unintentionally turns into a comedy.

After filming wraps, the big premiere night begins. Everyone watches all the films together on the big screen, and then the festive Oscar ceremony kicks off. Who will win the award for Best Picture? Who delivers the most convincing acting performance? And who—fully deserving—will receive the imaginary Oscar for the most spectacular slip-ups? One thing is certain: the films will continue to be a topic of conversation and provide plenty of laughs long after the event.
