No work today—it’s investigation time. In crime-themed geocaching, you and your colleagues will step into the roles of criminal investigators and help the police solve a series of mysterious crimes. No CSI experience is necessary. Sharp observational skills, teamwork, and the ability not to suspect everyone right away are all you need. In small teams, you’ll make your way through a city of your choice and visit various crime scenes. There, you’ll examine evidence, verify alibis, reconstruct the events of the crimes, and cleverly piece together clues. With every case solved, you’ll get a little closer to the truth—or at least to the next heated discussion about who the culprit might actually be. Of course, each team immediately develops its own investigative tactics. The amateur detective analyzes every detail as if he’d stepped into a TV series. The strategist wants to gather all the evidence first before even saying a word. And then there’s the colleague who, after the first clue, confidently declares, “The case is solved!” Most of the time, it turns out five minutes later that he was chasing the completely wrong suspect.

The more cases are solved, the greater the ambition becomes. Every solved crime is celebrated like a spectacular investigative success. If a theory doesn’t hold up, it’s naturally explained by saying the perpetrator was “just too clever.” Mistakes in their own reasoning? Of course, those never happen to real investigators. What makes crime mystery geocaching special is the combination of a thrilling story, active city exploration, and plenty of teamwork. As you work together to solve the puzzles, you’ll discover the city’s most beautiful spots and experience a competition where brains are just as important as teamwork. In the end, the team that successfully solves the most criminal cases wins.
