Are there frequent misunderstandings and tensions in your team that you’d like to resolve easily? Then team building in Wiesbaden is just the thing for your company. The state capital is well-known as the home of many spa resorts and thermal baths. Located between the Neroberg—with its Nerobergbahn funicular—and the Taunus Ridge, Wiesbaden is ideal for stress-free, relaxing team-building activities. The city boasts fifteen thermal and mineral springs as well as a former volcanic area. In addition, there are numerous spa facilities, saunas, English gardens, a zoo and botanical garden, and a medicinal herb garden. Such locations are perfect for team-building activities in Wiesbaden that are sure to revitalize your colleagues’ team spirit. Wiesbaden’s agricultural sector consists mainly of wineries and sparkling wine producers such as Henkell & Co. The locals know how to relax, but they also know how to party. During Rheingau Wine Week, Schloßplatz transforms into the world’s largest wine and sparkling wine bar. Furthermore, the Wilhelmstraße Festival, with about a quarter of a million visitors, is the largest folk festival in all of Germany. Wiesbaden is also home to one of the country’s most popular and time-honored casinos. Instead of playing on modern slot machines, visitors here play blackjack, poker, or roulette. Turning such a game into a team-building activity—such as blind poker—promises an exciting experience for your team.

The Rheingau-Taunus region has a lot to offer both in terms of tourism and culture. In the Theißtal recreational area, for example, you’ll find the former Limes fortifications, beautiful mountain hiking trails, picnic areas, and a fishing pond. The Theißtal Bridge, with its five pillars, spans the narrow valley and serves as the landmark of the town of Niedernhausen. Primarily known as a “commuter town” due to its large number of commuters, Niedernhausen also offers a wide variety of recreational and sports activities during the day: soccer and bocce are very popular. But the town is also second to none when it comes to music: national and international stars perform at the Rhein-Main Theater. The spectrum ranges from musicals and music shows to cabaret and comedy. Taunusstein is another town in the Rheingau–Taunus region and is located just nine kilometers from Wiesbaden. Large festivals are held here regularly, such as the fair in each of the town’s formerly independent districts. In addition to regular markets, Taunusstein is particularly well-visited in winter. A unique feature of the town is the forest Christmas market, as well as a charitable Christmas market whose proceeds go entirely to a good cause. Last but not least, Schlangenbad—a spa town with a historic Kelio sauna and an open-air thermal bath—is also located in the Taunus region. The town’s name derives from the Aesculapian snakes, which thrive in the nearly Mediterranean climate of this thermally active area.
